1st and 2nd Day in Scotland-Student Perspective
In a word, unbelievable. The first flight was unbelievably uncomfortable. The second flight was unbelievably comforting. The airplane food was unbelievably good, for airplane food. The Scottish coast was unbelievably windy, yet unbelievably gorgeous. The food in general is unbelievably delicious. The whole experience is unbelievably just beginning.
On our first day, we not only got to see the Scottish Seabird Centre and the Castle of North Berwick, but also I got to know the people in my group and the people in Scotland. My group seems to get along pretty well and has a sense of adventure. The Scottish people have an appreciation of their history and are very willing to share it with others; however, even if the Scots did not share their country's history, you can almost feel it and see it in the buildings and the landscape. The stone buildings look as old as the soil it stands on. The landscape is so rocky and green, like had a hard past but is still prosperous. Scotland is just how I would imagine it, green fields and grey skies, but surprising the tea is delicious even if it is not sweet. I am certainly looking forward to the rest of the trip.
Sincerely adventuring,
Dallas Goodnight
